Hi all, I am trying to calculate the following integral:
Integrale[x*Exp[b*(x-m)/a]*Abs[Gamma[d+ I*(x-m)/a]]^2, {x,-infinity, infinity}].
I know that the integral exists. It's suppose to produce the expected value of a random variable from a well known distribution.
But I was not able to obtain the value of the integral using mathematica of maple.
Thanks for any input.
Serina.
