Hello,
I have just purchased Optica and am having problems using it... Every time I try to draw a simple system I receive the following errors:
In: DrawSystem[{
LineOfRays[20],
Move[PlanoConvexLens[100, 20, 5], {10, 0, 0}],
Boundary[120]}, PlotType -> TopView]
CompiledFunction::cfn: Numerical error encountered at instruction 2; proceeding with uncompiled evaluation.
Power::infy : Infinite expression 1/0. encountered.
CompiledFunction::cfn: Numerical error encountered at instruction 2; proceeding with uncompiled evaluation.
Power::infy : Infinite expression 1/0. encountered.
etc...
At first I thought this was an error in my coding, but the same thing happens when running a demo from the Mathematica site (Focus.nb).
Is there a patch for Optica? Is there a way I can fix this?
Other Info: I am running Mathematica 4.2...
Thanks for any help,
Alan
