I want to make an animation of the process of "fattening" a graph: transforming a graph into the 3d manifold it represents. Also, I want to be able to trace a cycle on this 3d space, and then flatten the space back to the graphical representation of this cycle.
I'd be using the functions for a basic sphere and torus (for the first part) and just the torus (for the second) but I'm not sure how to do these animations.
