I want to create an n-component (say A) array that has random gaussian entries. I would then like to use the array in the following way (k=n-1:

myfun[k_]:= Sum_{i=0}^k A[i+1] x^2;

(I'm sure the syntax is not spot on but the idea should be obvious) so that for a value of k I can plot the function for 1 realisation of the created array.

My attemps so far seem to for each point that x is plotted create a new realisation each time.

Should I do the creation of the array and the definition and the plot in some sort of module? I don't really know how to do that.

Any help would be fantastic.
