I'm trying to use the solve function to find the point on a parametric surface, S(u,v), at which the normal vector from that point passes through a known point outside of the surface A = {Ax,Ay,Az}. The attached file shows what I'm doing and the multiple solutions that it comes up with. Anyone know how I can code it so that the redundant solutions and those for which lambda is 0 are not given in the output?
