I'm attempting to fit an (double single) integral equation (which can not be solved analytically) to a data set. I wonder if it is possible to introduce the (unsolved) integral equation in Mathematica, together with the dataset and let the computer calculate the best fit, based on a nonlinear least square method.
Does anybody know if this is possible or not?
I'm quite new to Mathematica, some code related to the problem would be very welcome.
thank you,
Gurkan
