A thought occurred to me that I have not been including units within mathematica, could this be the issue with getting different values for kb and s compared to what they are known to be?
k should be inverse molarity (M^-1)
x= molarity (M)
s= base pairs (bp) the concentration is actually M x bp of DNA
y2= unit-less because it is the molar extinction coefficient/molar extinction coefficient
