Hello,
How does one allocate more memory to Mathematica kernel using windows XP SP2?
I have a notebook (a radiative transfer problem which involves the inversion of a very large sparse matrix) that works fine on a mac with 512Mb of memory allocated to the kernel, but it will not work on my AMD Athlon laptop with 1Gb of physical ram + 4Gb virtual memory. I get the message -Out of memory. Why? This is quite annoying...
