I am doing a fairly complicated tensor anylisis; whereby i start with a tensor and reduce the matrix until i have a square matrix. My final step, however, is to find the eigenvalues of the simplified matrix, however, all of my matrix entries are brackted with two extra sets of brackets (from the tensor simplification). Thus, when I use the Eigenvalue command i get back "Argument is not a square matrix" though it really is a square matrix. Is there anyway to get rid of these brackets, without having to do so manually. thanks
