I've been trying to solve a polynomial of degree 8 for x with x between 0 and 1. I've tried the Solve command but i get the tdep error so when i use the findroot command i get 'nlnum:the function value{0.+f[x,3.7]} is not a list of numbers with dimensions {1} at {x}={0.}'.
Any ideas on what i should do?
