I want to define an Matrix whose elements are not numbers but Operators, such as d/dx
For example, a matrix like:

A={{d/dx,0},{0,d/dx}}

my question is :

How can I define this kind of matrix operator A to realize the following function?

For example:

if B={{0,x^2},{x^3,0}}

I want this result: the matrix multiplication of A and B is

A.B = {{0,2x},{3x^2,0}}
that is, the differential operator d/dx operates on the function x^2 and x^3 following the rule of matrix multiplication.

and
B.A = {{0,x^2*d/dx},{x*d/dx,0}}
remains an operator matrix.

this kind of definition may be useful in Quantum Mechanics.
