Thank u for your reply. My computer is P4 3.0E single cpu with hyperthread on. When the programme ran, only 50% of the CPU was used. My Mathematica is student version 5.2.
I also use Timing to test the speed for three times, comparing with the one of 5.1. The results r following.
Timing[BernoulliB[1500];]
5.1 5.2
Time(Second)1st 4.703 4.719
2nd 4.719 4.734
3rd 4.718 4.766
