 Author Comment/Response yehuda ben-shimol 09/20/05 03:30am Continuing my answer from yesterday... >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>Second question: I need to graph in R^3 the >>"lines" like >> >>x + y + z ==10 >>x + y == 5 >>x + z == 5 >>y + y == 5 >> >>say, in the neighborhood of the origin <= 20 (to >>visualize the "positive part").. May I use the >>packet Graphics3D? How? comment: shouldn't your last line be y+z==5? your equations do not represent lines. So what do you really want to plot in 3D? with Plot3D (or Graphics3D) you need to describe z in terms of x and y to get a plot. so, what is z for second equation, waht is x for last equation etc.?? If you want to see more then one 3D graphical object, this is another issue Try the following (g1 represent your first equation) g1 = Plot3D[10Sin[x + y], {x, 0, 2Pi}, {y, 0, 2Pi}]; g2 = Plot3D[10 - 2x - 2y, {x, 0, 2Pi}, {y, 0, 2Pi}, ColorFunction -> Hue]; Show[g1, g2] yehuda URL: ,
