Mathematica 5.1 with Windows Xp
How does one create a link to a LOCAL file (such as a pdf file) so that the pdf file comes up in acrobat reader?
You can create a hyperlink to http://www.copyright.gov/legislation/dmca.pdf and you will be taken to the file properly.
You can link to it on your drive and it will be pulled into mathematica as a text file, but it is then unreadable.
