Sounds like there is an initialization cell in the notebook with an Import. Two quick fixes:
a) Select all the Input cells and mouse to Cell menu - Cell Properties, and Check and unCheck Initialization Cell.
better) Format menu - Option Inspector,
- Set Scope to the notebook name,
- in the main section of the Option Inspector window, trace down
-- Notebook Options
-- Evaluation Options
-- set InitializationCellEvaluation to False.
