Try to run this:
Reduce[-91.57 + 3.95 * x + Exp[-0.1 * x]*(100.12 + 4.05 * x) == 0, x, Reals]
Mathematica just report an error: “MathKernel has encountered a problem and needs to close. “, and then closed the kernel. All work in memory got lost. The Mathematica command windows is still open.
I wonder if anybody have noticed this bug and figured out a solution.
