I am trying to use contourplot3d, and it works fine for the most part. I want to change some of the 3d display options, but apparently the options for contourplot3d are different than the options for other 3d plot functions. In particular, I want to turn off the polygon mesh, (Mesh->False does nothing) and control the lighting, shading, coloring, and general style of the surface itself. Does anyone know specifically how to do this, or where I can go to find out? I have found no useful information in the built in help system, on this site, or anywhere else on the internet. There is a five year old post at http://forums.wolfram.com/student-support/topics/3974 with a response with a broken link. Any help is much appreciated.
