I am working on an assignment for school, and one of the wuestions asks me to calculate the Eigen values for the product of two matrices, m and p. I have calculated the product and assigned it to productmp. When I then evaluate
Eigenvalues[productmp]
mathematica returns
Eigenvalues[productmp]
This also happens with
Det[productmp]
and with
Eigenvectors[productmp]
I know this is going to be a really trivial problem, but it has me baffled. Any help anyone could give me would be much appreciated.
