My laptop Mac has 4GB Ram. I need to compute an integral of a very complicated function of 5 variables. After about 20 or 30 minutes of computation with Mathematica, the operating system asks me to close some programs because there is not enough RAM. The problem is solved only if I close Mathematica.
Is there any way to overcome this memory problem?
Second question: is there any way to estimate how much time a certain computation will take with Mathematica?
