CALL FOR PAPERS : ECONOMETRIC APPLICATIONS IN FINANCE A workshop on "Computing in Economics and Finance" sponsored by the International Federation of Automatic Control (IFAC) will be held on 8,9,10 June 1994 at the University of Amsterdam, The Netherlands. The meeting is intended to cover both quantitative and qualitative methods for economics, finance and decision making. The program will include invited lectures, contributed papers, and discussions on recent developments and applications. Selected papers from the workshop will be published in a special issue of the Kluwer journal "Computational Economics." You are invited to contribute to a session on ECONOMETRIC METHODS IN FINANCE to be held at this workshop. The session will focus on innovative uses of econometrics and computing resources to solve practical problems in finance. Please submit a detailed abstract (at least two pages) to Kit Baum (email, fax or hardcopy) at the address below no later than 1 February 1994. If accepted, a final version of the paper must be submitted by 1 May 1994. Please note that there will be no financial support for travel or lodging; however, the registration fee will be modest.
