PowerMac timings

Here are some sample timings. Tests were done by WRI with a beta version of
Mathematica for PowerPc. They were run on Power Macintosh 6100/60

Timing[3^10000;]
returns 0.066667 Second (0.4 sec on Quadra 700)


Timing[N[Pi,3500];]
returns 1.3 Second (9.78 sec on Quadra 700)


First[Timing[Eigenvalues[Table[Random[],{200},{200}]]]]
returns 13.216 Second (114.5 sec on Quadra 700)

Other tests return values that are between 1/3 to 1/15 of the times
obtained with a Quadra 700.
