Bravo Joseph Herrmann.  I agree with every word you wrote.  In fact, had I
had the time I would have written the same response.  We may all wish for
fixes of bugs, but we all recognize that resources are limited and some
sort of priorities are needed.  But given this, it hardly seems like a
monumental task to keep a list of bugs - with fixes or not - on
MathSource.  I also use Mma in my classes.  In fact I will begin teaching 
the rudiments of Mma and Maple to hundreds of our students.  I need to 
know the bugs, if for no other reason than to stay away from some 
projects as assignments for the students.
