i have been using 2.2 on two powerbook 180's for a number of years and i
have never had any problems there.


maybe your powerbook is just upset because spindler has managed to take
apple's buyout value from a $40 a share offer from ibm to a $33 a share
bid from sun.

btw - the rule for macs is "if it doesn't happen three times, then it
really didn't happen" so go ahead and use mathematica on your machine and
i would expect that the roblem won't recur [at least not until your
warrenty expires]
