Here is my reponse to Warren's question.

  It is well-known that 
                       x! = Gamma[1+x],  x=0,1,2...  .
This gives
                    d(x!)/dx = (x!)*PolyGamma[1+x].

Mathematica does not integrate symbolically the gamma function.
