Hi all, I have the following problem: matrix1= 1 I I 1 I 1 1 I I 1 1 I {{-, -, -, -(-)}, {-, -, -(-), -}, {-, -(-), -, -}, 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 1 I I 1 {-(-), -, -, -}} 2 2 2 2 matrix2= {{2, 0, b, o}, {0, 3, 0, c}, {Conjugate[b], 0, 2, 0}, {0, Conjugate[c], 0, 3}} Now, MatrixForm[Simplify[Inverse[matrix1] . matrix2 . matrix1]] gives a matrix which contains elements like: (10 + I b + I c - o - I Conjugate[b] - I Conjugate[c])/4 ^ | I think the meaning of this o is 0 (zero), but i don't understand where it comes from! And especially... How can i get rid of this o? With kind regards, Marlies Brinksma ==== [MESSAGE SEPARATOR] ====
