A related problem is where to put the commands:

Off[General::spell];
Off[General::spell1];

I used to put them in init.m (initialization cells) in vers. 2.2, but I
can't find the right init.m to use in vers. 3.0. There are several and
which to use is confusing. I've tried several, but it still won't work.

Any info greatly appreciated.
