Accessing help-pages (mm3.0) is so slow (PC-Xware --> Workstation)

Our mm3.0-version runs under HP/UX 10.20. We use the X-Server PC-Xware to
access mm3.0 from our PCs remotely. PC-Xware is configured to receive special
mm3.0-fonts as Font-Client, whereas the HP-Workstation is configured as
Font-Server (this is also required if one uses mm3.0 directly on the
workstation to be able to use the Type1-Fonts delivered with mathematica).

The result is the access of most help-pages need much time, for example the
NDSolve-Helppage needs 105s ! the first time to be visible on the screen
(Algebra 'Finite Fields' needs 110s). In contrast to that some other
Help-Pages come up very quickly (3-5s).

First I thought it may be an "feature" of PC-Xware. so I installed the
mm3.0-Fonts locally on a second HP-workstation and started from there mm3.0
remotely. But the access of the help-pages became not much much faster
compared to the PC--workstation connection.

Only if one goes (physically) to the workstation on which mm3.0 resides and
invoke there the program directly then this time penalty obtaining help pages
vanishes. But this workstation can't be accessed by the normal user.

What can be done to reduce the time for accessing help-pages in mm3.0 if it is
remotely used by the XServer PC-Xware ?

Thanks for any hints
