Have a look at "Numerical Solutions for Partial Differential Equations,
Problem Solving Using Mathematica", by Victor G. Ganzha and Evgenii V.
Vorozhtsov.
This book is described in WRI site:
http://store.wolfram.com/view/ISBN0849373794/?347AE926-130E It is
written for version 2 but I did not notice incompatibilities in
version 3. However I must admit I did not use all the proposed
programs, since the subject is quite wide.
Hope this helps.

Objet:	[mg9751] numerical eigenfuncs/values

Hello:
I would like to inquire if anyone knows offhand of a good advanced level
programming text/code that addresses the computation(mathematica or c)
of numerical eigenfunctions and eigenvalues for second order PDEs. I am
writing a mathematica code which does this and am curious if anyone out
there has successfully implemented their program.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions. D. Leddon
