Mickey has mailed me

Is there any way of doing this with the X11 front-end?

In default of this, here is a way using the Option Inspector:

Menu:
Format>Option Inspector...
In panel
Show option values for (selection's style)
	Look up [CellOpen]
Change CellOpen ----> True to CellOpen ----> False
(by clicking on button [] on the right) --
