I am in the very early stages of putting together a business plan (and starting the associated funding discussions) for a Mathematica related business and am interested in getting a feel for the pool of talent that I might draw on should funding get secured. Very generally, this venture would aim to produce a steady sequence of Mathematica aftermarket products that leverage the full spectrum of Mathematica's strengths: those that are present in the current version and those planned for future releases. I am interested in hearing from experienced Mathematica programmers who have broad scientific and engineering interests. Let me know in an email a) What your Mathematica experience is b) The role that you might envision yourself taking in such a start-up enterprise c) Thoughts that you might want to share on possible products and product strategies d) Any pertinent information that you wish to offer, as well as any questions that you might have Your answers and comments will help me continue to refine my business ideas (or perhaps abandon them!). Please only send moderate length email in ASCII format with no attachments (but you may offer URL's for me to look at) to dreiss at earthlink.net.
