Hello, explicitly stating which Font to use etc.), I came to the conclusion, that this whole problem is platform (Sun Solaris 7)-related. Executing the identical commands (identical notebook) yielded _different_ graphical output on my system here and s.o.'s Win95-M4.0 system... :( Patrick -- to understand recursion, you have to understand recursion first
