What do you mean by real EPS?
I commonly use Mathematica EPS with LaTeX. Select the plot and do Edit:Save
Selection As:EPS. This generates an EPS file with a bitmap in the resource
fork (which is used, e.g., by OzTeX's DVI viewer).
