Generally, software which was compatible with NT4 is very compatible with 
Win2K (which, after all, is really just NT5 renamed for marketing 
reasons).  Mathematica 4 and 4.1 are no exception...they work very well 
under Win2K.

If you're using an earlier version of Mathematica, your mileage may vary, 
although I believe that version 3 still works reasonably well (versions 
before 3 were a bit shaky on even NT4).
