I have solved systems of ODEs with >250 equations AND I forced NDSolve to keep certain extra information about previous times - it took a while to get an answer, but I never run out of memory! My best guess is that something else is going on, irrelevant wiht the internals of NSolve. Send more information on the system you are solving... Orestis
