It's a feature if you like it (or can LEARN to like it).

Otherwise, it's a bug.

Dear Higinio Ramos,

You writes:

HR> Directly:
HR> In[23]:=
HR> Integrate[1/(4 - (x + y + z + w)),
HR> {x, 1, 2}, {y, 1, 2}, {z, 1, 2}, {w, 1, 2}]

HR> Out[23]=
HR> \!\(1\/2\ \((\(-\(\(176\ Log[2]\)\/3\)\) + 36\ Log[3])\)\

I know the exact answer.

My question was ABSOLUTELY DIFFERENT:

IS THE ANSWER A BUG OR A FEATURE.

IF YOU WANT YOU CAN EXPLAIN ME WHAT WAS IT
AND W H Y D O Y O U T H I N K SO.

Best regards,

Vladimir Bondarenko

BT> Your answers are correct... you need to upgrade!

I AM AFRAID, I CANNOT UPGRADE.

I HAVE A L L VERSIONS OF MATHEMATICA AVAILABLE (AND, MAYBE, EVEN MORE
;-)

WHY DO YOU THINK THAT THE ANSWER IS OK ?

REMEMBER, I HAVE NO CORRECT ANSWER, ONLY THE DECOMPOSITION.

VB> I have a fairly old version of Mathematica.

BUT A L O W E R VERSION OF MATHEMATICA YIELDS
THE CORRECT ANSWER.

CAN WE NAME MY DEMO A REGRESSION BUG ?
IF NOT, WHY ?

OR, IF IT IS A FEATURE, WHY ?

Best regards,

Vladimir Bondarenko
