  Hi,


 I am trying to install Mathlink into 
 mathematica 3.0 for Suse Linux. 
 After installing the package into 
 the AddOns dir I have placed the 
 script "mcc" and the binary "mprep" 
 in usr/bin/local dir.
 When I try to run the mcc compiler on
 the examples provided for the current 
 version of Mathlink I get the following 
  error from the shell:
  "/usr/local/mprep:cannot execute bin file"
 
 I do not what is going on, since the mprep
 binary file is placed in the right place.
 
 Could somebody tell me what is the problem?.
