Im using Mathematica 4.2 on my MacOSX notebook but still have 4.0 on my
desktop. I have encountered a strange thing which is causing me
problems. I have defined the wavefunction in momentum space for a sho

in 4.0 when i evaluate for the ground state I get the answer I would
expect.
In 4.2 the answer is the same but I get an Integer 1 appearing which
makes it very difficult to manipulate the result to the form I want.

I have attached the Notebook content below. This is the 4.0 version but
with the 4.2 result copied across.

Any comments/help?

Don
