At the front of your notebook put the following statements:

Off[General::spell]
Off[General::spell1]

Or better yet, in your AutoLoad folder create a notebook, init.nb, put the
statements in the notebook, make them initialization cells and save the
notebook as an Auto Generated Package. (A dialog box with the choice will
come up when you first save the notebook.) That will create an init.m
package file that will be automatically loaded whenever you start up
Mathematica. Then you will never be bothered by those pesky messages again.

I think it would be far better if these messages were off by default.

Hello Mathgroup!

Does anyone now how can one switch off
the spelling error check in Mathematica?
Sometimes the use of similar names for variables
is more convenient, and in this case the spelling error
check just slows the work.
