Nope. Help told you as much. If it were, it would've (should've) appeared
in the help.

You have to specify them manually.
Perhaps playing around with the following might educe the insights you seek?
s1 = {Thickness[.01], Dashing[{.01, .05}], GrayLevel[.5]};
s2 = {Thickness[.01], Red};
Plot[Sin[x], {x, -Pi, Pi},
PlotStyle -> {Thickness[.01], Green},
GridLines -> {{Automatic, s1}, {Automatic, s2}}
];
Play with s1 & s2 to see different GridLine styles.
