I am finding that an inner escape \* inside of string input "\!\( is not honored by some functions like StyleBox.
\* is honored by other functions like GridBox, for instance:
"\!\(x+\*GridBox[{{\"a\",\"b\"},{\(c\^2\),\(d\/\*GridBox[{{\"x\",\"y\"},{\"x\",\"y\"}}]\)}}]\)"
above workes as expected but this fails:
"cg\nt\!\(\*StyleBox[\(\*ToBoxes[\(\"aggg\n\ttca\"\)]\)
,FontColor->RGBColor[1,0,0],FontSize->18,FontWeight->\"Bold\"]\)\ntctac\ngcgc"
Also, I'm having trouble getting literal quotes \" to appear inside StyleBox fomatted text.
Cheers! ~chris french
