Congratulations Steven,
You have discovered a fragment of some of the functionality that is
still being worked on in the Mathematica 6 beta. That symbol and others
like have been moved to a new package. If you have the beta, you can
execute:
In[1]:=
Get["Utilities`Motivation`"]
In[2]:=
Names["Utilities`Motivation`*"]
Out[2]=
{Apple,Carrot,Stick,SugarCube}
