The latest version of the Global Optimization application package
for Mathematica is now available for download from the Wolfram
web store. Global Optimization is used to define and solve
constrained and unconstrained nonlinear systems and to compute
function numeric values. Any function computable by Mathematica
can be used as input, including simulation models, black-box
functions, and the degree of fit of a model against data.

Version 5.2 introduces key performance enhancements for
large-scale nonlinear global optimization, and can solve problems
with over 20,000 variables. Constrained problems can now be
solved twice as fast as before, and problems with non-real
regions are now solved more reliably.

Developed and supported by Loehle Enterprises, Global
Optimization requires Mathematica 5.2 or higher and is available
for all Mathematica platforms.
