Thread is expecting the list to be of equal length.
In the first case {1,1} is a list of length 2 and {{1,1},{2,2}} is also a
list of length 2.
Obviously in the second case {{1,1},{2,2},{3,3}} is a list of length 3 and
Thread generates an error message
