NormalDistribution[ ] defaults to NormalDistribution[0, 1]
#[NormalDistribution[ ]]& /@ {Mean, StandardDeviation}
{0,1}
n=100 ;
A = RandomArray[NormalDistribution[], {n, n}];
#[Flatten[A]]& /@ {Mean, StandardDeviation}
{0.00534244,1.00117}
