It is a pleasure to invite you for the 9th edition of the

International Mathematica Symposium 2008
20-24 June 2008, Maastricht, the Netherlands

Please reserve these dates in your agenda. Note that it includes a
weekend (Friday =E2=80=93 Tuesday).

Submission:
We invite you to participate, and submit a contribution (abstract) on
the following (non-exhaustive) range of topics:

Accepted papers will be published in a digital IMS 2008 proceedings
(with ISBN number).

1 May 2008: Notification of acceptance

ticket =E2=82=AC 50.
20-24 June 2008: IMS 2008 in Maastricht

Highlights:
Many experts from Mathematica will be present to give tutorials and
state-of-the-art lectures and workshops.
Four distinguished keynote speakers are invited.
Among the focus areas will be demonstrators and applications in
Mathematica 6, and the use of Mathematica in the life- and (bio)-
medical sciences.
The conference dinner will be on Sunday evening in the amazing man-
made caves of Geulhem.
You will also be taken in groups on a culinary restaurant tour through
the beating heart of Maastricht.
An optional tour with demos to Maastricht=E2=80=99s modern medical imaging
radiology and surgery centre is scheduled.

Venue:
The Symposium is held in the inner city of historic Maastricht, in the
nice medieval and state-of-the-art lecture halls of Maastricht
University. The beautiful city of Maastricht is well known for its
character, gastronomy, historic sites and happy street life. A good
place also to bring your family, and start exploring some of Europe.

Travel information:
Maastricht is close to a range of airports, and can easily be reached
by train from Amsterdam, Brussels and K=C3=B6ln.

NB: Air travel in Europe can be very economic, if early booked.
