snippets

I often enter expressions like HoldForm[FullForm[some expression]. In Mathematica 5 I could make snippets with TextExpander but it doesn't longer work with Mathematica 6. I use Mac Leopard. Does anybody know how to enter long expressions using snippets with Mathematica 6? Thanks Bob
