Enlarging figure size by Mathematica

Enjoying the new image processing capabilities of Mathematica 7 I formed a GraphicsGrid form 12 jpg-figures, 1 MB altogether, and saved the result only to be astonished that it was 12 MB... How can I decrease the size of the result? Thank you. J=E1nos
