Find Selected Function?

The Help >> Find Selected Function menu command in Mac V7 opens a 
"Wolfram Mathematica: Documentation Center" window which has _two_ 
Search fields: one in the toolbar at the top of the window, one (in red) 
further down in the window.

Are they different?  Do they do different things?
