I would like to know which is or are the best commands in order to find the highest and lowest function values in an interval. What I need are not the maximums not the minimums of the function within the interval but the highest and lowest values. In my search of the help files I couldn't find a simple way to do it because with maximize or minimize I don't get what I need. I am an inexpert user so please excuse me for that.
