Mathematica 9 IsotopeData is no longer self-consistent

Has anyone else run into this issue:
IsotopeData[x,"FullSymbol"] returns a lower case string like "neptunium-239". However, IsotopeData[x] only recognizes strings that start out capitalized - like "Neptunium-239". So checking IsotopeData[x,"AlphaDecay"] requires a transformation that it did not require in oprevious versions.
